13 April, 2016 – WTS Energy announced today the opening of a new office in Mexico, building on more than 15 years’ experience of working in the America’s region with some of the world’s largest IOC ‘s and EPC contractors.
The office will open with immediate effect and will focus on delivering high quality candidates to the Upstream, Midstream and Downstream markets.
As Mexico reforms its energy sector and prepares to open its oil and gas fields to exploration by foreign companies for the first time in decades, expectations are high. With onshore, offshore and unconventional oil reserves, estimated at about 90 billion barrels of oil and natural gas, this potentially establishes Mexico as one of the world’s leading hydrocarbon-controlling countries.
“By investing in this new office, we are gaining substantial expertise, knowledge and experience in the country which is invaluable to assist companies in their first steps into Mexico”, said Egon Kerkhof, Vice-president of Business Development for the Americas.
WTS Energy is very excited about the opportunities having an office based in Mexico will bring. The investment is expected to create many new business opportunities and continue to drive the company’s organic growth approach.
