WTS Energy, a leading global energy services company, is proud to announce the grand opening of its state-of-the-art training center, Spark Hub, in Nairobi, Kenya. This groundbreaking initiative, realized in partnership with GIZ Kenya and NITA KENYA, marks a significant milestone in the advancement of technical training for the renewable energy sector in the country.
“A vision beginning from a mere spark”
WTS Energy vision is triggering the leapfrog into a renewable energy industrialization of Kenya. This stars with sparking the careers of young talented technicians. The first program has already upskilled 150 beneficiaries into the highest quality standards, exemplary health & safety practices and hands-on construction skills that will improve the quality of the Solar photovoltaic energy ecosystem. Moreover, the Spark Energy Hub is a platform that provides specialized and demand-oriented training programs, ensuring that participants are equipped with the skills necessary to excel in their respective fields.
The partnership with NITA and GIZ Kenya played a pivotal role in bringing the vision of Spark Hub to life and will continue to lead efforts to expand the center’s training capabilities. This expansion aims to cater to the growing demand for skilled professionals in Kenya’s energy sector, as well as ensuring a certified and safer environment for the workforce.

It has been a few weeks since the opening opening of Spark Hub, a momentous occasion attended by esteemed guests from various sectors of the industry.
The event showcased the center modular facilities and adaptable to different technologies and practices. Moreover, it featured interactive demonstrations of the training programs offered (…) practical learning and market-oriented applications.
